Spiritual Crocodiles Fireside

We just had a fireside where we used the talk Spiritual Crocodiles as the theme. We breifly discussed what spiritual crocodiles are and how they could be avoided. How sometimes we think we know the path we are on but we need to be aware of what is ahead and to be careful. We then asked the youth if they thought they could get to the bathroom without any help. Many of them have found the bathroom in this house without any help or direction many times. Sounds simple enough...right. Yes, it would be simple if you weren't blindfolded and there weren't things in your way. Thanks to everyone who came to the fireside. We had a lot of fun and hope you did to.

New Beginnings....Marysville Style!

Our beautiful set up....thanks so much to Sister Colborn
for making our fabulous value banners!

We had such a great program! The Laurels made gold bracelets
for all the Beehives to reflect our newest value...Virtue!

Some Laurels gather to chit-chat.

Sister Carr was signing off finished goals from Josephine.
Way to go Josephine!!!

Emerald in all her adorable-ness!!! : D

More fun mingling...

Sister Barrow came from the Stake. Always so
much fun to see her!!

Remember the Bishop's challenge from the
General Young Women's Presidency to each Young Woman:
1. Pray every day
2. Read the Book of Mormon for 5 minutes every day
3. Smile EVERY day!!

Think about it...if we will pray, read, and smile everyday, we
will become closer to our Heavenly Father and be happier. : D

Three Leg Soccer

Thanks to the Young Men for coming up with our last activity. One of the best parts of the evening was Brother Biggs yelling "TWEET" because he didn't have a whistle.

Ice Cream Sculpting

Through the help of other blogs we were able to come up with the idea of ice cream sculpting for an activity. We gave a short lesson about what we need to do in our own lives to "sculpt" ourselves into the masterpieces we are intended to be. Then we let the girls loose on ice cream and all the fixings...

We had a cell phone:
